My Introduction
Nice to meet you. My name is Yukari Kitamura, and I’m a professional hair stylist.
I’m originally from Shiga, Japan. After graduating from a beauty school in Osaka, I worked at salons in the Kansai area for nine years, eventually becoming a salon manager.
Later, I decided to pursue my dream of working abroad. I spent six months working as a freelance hair stylist in Japan before moving to the United States on my own in July 2023.
Working as a Hair Stylist in the U.S.
I worked at Salon JKU, located in Center City, Philadelphia, providing salon services to local clients.
In addition, I was also active in New York, doing hair and makeup for photoshoots and other creative projects.
My Present Work in Japan
I temporarily returned to Japan in May 2025, and I am currently working as a freelance hair stylist here again.
In the future, I plan to travel back and forth between the U.S. and Japan, connecting with many people through beauty and bringing joy to their daily lives.
